Aeolus RoboticsDual-arm mobile service robot from Aeolus for eldercare, delivery, disinfection, and security in hospitals and senior living facilities.

About aeo
aeo is a dual-arm service robot from Aeolus Robotics, unveiled at CES 2023. It rolls through indoor facilities on an autonomous mobile base, opens doors, rides elevators, and uses one arm for tasks like medicine delivery or UV disinfection while the other handles mobility controls.
Each arm has seven degrees of freedom with about 3.6 kg single-arm lift capacity. Vision software tracks resident posture for fall-risk cues, patrols for security anomalies, and supports remote monitoring through web and smartphone apps. Expressive eyes on the head screen are meant to feel approachable in care settings.
Aeolus deploys aeo through a robot-as-a-service model — not a consumer buy box. Units have operated in Japan since 2019, with expansion into Hong Kong, Taipei, and US partner pilots. Pricing is quote-based through Aeolus or integrators such as Asratec and Malibu AI.
HomeBotRadar lists aeo because elder-care and aging-in-place readers watch facility robots as leading indicators for home assistance. It is not a robot you order for a private apartment today. Compare it with ElliQ, Mirokaï, or Tombot Jennie for home-facing elder companions, or EBO X for a buyable family guardian.
