About Kuavo 5
Kuavo 5 is Leju Robotics' fifth-generation humanoid platform. The biped stands 173 cm tall, weighs 63.5 kg, and lists 29 body degrees of freedom before end effectors, with tactile dexterous hands, a 360° waist, and interchangeable arms or grippers. Official Kuavo 5 MaxB manuals quote 0.4 m/s walking, up to 5 km/h running, about one hour of biped endurance per charge, and a dual-compute stack pairing an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H host with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin.
Leju also sells Kuavo 5-W, which swaps the legs for a wheeled base and lift column for faster indoor navigation. The company documents ROS-based control, depth cameras, Livox mid-360 LiDAR, and HarmonyOS/KaihongOS integration with Huawei's Pangu embodied AI. Press and partner coverage cite deployments at NIO, FAW Hongqi, and Haier, plus exhibition and bank-assistance demos.
Leju does not publish a consumer MSRP. Enterprise buyers request quotes through Leju channels. HomeBotRadar tracks Kuavo 5 because Leju markets simulated home kitchen and elder-assistance scenarios alongside factory and research use, but verified home ownership remains rare outside pilot programs.
